It is amazing to go back to basics and do the basics properly. One kind of skips the basics when learning to cycle, focussing only on trying to do difficult things when in actual fact it is the simple things you have to master to get the difficult things right. That is the most important thing I learnt from you. On Sunday I rode through a rocky patch that I used to walk, and a cycling buddy was very impressed at my “improved skills”. The course has given me some of the confidence that I lacked. Knowing that there are only three things to remember, not 101, also helps a lot. I just wish I had done this course two years ago.
